Tours from Madrid that families will enjoy

All of our trips from Madrid take place during one day. Throughout the day, sufficient time is available to tour places quite different from the capital, like Avila or Segovia. The first is famous for its long medieval walls and the Santa Teresa de Jesus. And the second is world-famous for its Roman aqueduct and the spectacular Alcazar.

Another interesting destination for a trip from Madrid is the city of Toledo. This city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it’s worth going on the peaceful guided tour that we offer you through its streets and to its monuments. It’s the best way to discover the City of Three Cultures.

The attractive places to see on a day trip from Madrid don’t stop there. It’s also possible to go to two quite distinct places that embody the far-off and more recent histories of Spain. Trips and guided tours to Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial and to the Valley of the Fallen are also available.

And equally interesting is to go on a trip to Aranjuez in order to see the palaces, museum and gardens in the beautiful Comunidad de Madrid, located very close to the capital and thus easy to go to on a day trip from Madrid.

That’s to say, we offer various destinations for these trips, which always include a guided tour to the most attractive and unforgettable places to see during your holiday in Madrid.

My son and I quite enjoyed this trip. The two cities were much more than we expected and we appreciated the places we visited thanks to the guide, and we also loved the lunch in Segovia with soup and pork.

A very well organized trip with a comfortable bus, very good and recommended food, and unusual towns like Avila with stunning medieval walls, and Segovia with its incredible aqueduct. Thanks for everything.

Avila and Segovia are to be visited time and time again. I will never tire of walking through their streets and I have already thought about returning with my parents through this company.

I didn’t really like the guide, she didn’t get along well with the group and seemed somewhat disinterested.

The schedule and itinerary were followed to the letter.

Very thorough. Seeing comments on other trips, I feel like there could have been more time to see Toledo. Aranjuez is the bare minimum.

The bus arrived a bit late and we had to stand in the tremendous heat waiting for it. Other than that, excellent.

January 2020

Very comfortable bus, which is important on this tour due to how many kilometres we covered. Very high quality for the price.

Fantastic. We really enjoyed both cities and all their monuments.

Spectacular. These two beautiful medieval cities were definitely worth knowing. My partner and I loved it. The guide was very friendly.

Great visit. We had enough time to see the most emblematic monuments of both cities as well as many other places, like palaces, which arent as popular.

Visiting both cities was amazing. We were able to appreciate every highlight and both cities history thanks to our guide.

Perfect to get to see Toledo. The street tour and visiting the city highlights was very interesting and broad enough to get an idea of the city and how it was during the time of its maximum splendor in the sixteenth century.

Art and history. I think that if you go to Madrid you have to visit Toledo, as it was the old Spanish capital and has a lot of very impressive places such as the cathedral, the alcazar and the Jewish quarter.

January 2020

I’d recommend this tour. We had enough time to see the city highlights and walk around the old town streets. Be careful if you have mobility problems because a person who did the tour with us had a bad time.

Laurie C.
January 2020

Good tour and good organization. We were able to enjoy some of Toledo’s highlights, although we would’ve liked to visit the inside of the cathedral instead of going to the damascening store.

Great. The city is beautiful, worth the visit.

January 2020

Highly recommended. Visiting the Aranjuez Royal Palace with a guide explaining all the rooms was definitely worth it.

January 2020

We loved it. I’d been in Madrid several times, but I’d never visited the Aranjuez Royal Palace. I’m glad to have done this through a tour because both myself and my companions were able to appreciate the place comfortably and with the guide’s explanations to help us understand and appreciate the history and the palace rooms

January 2020

Good organization. My husband and I first planned on visiting the Aranjuez palace on our own, although in the end we decided to do the tour in the afternoon. Thanks to the guide we were able to see and appreciate the palace’s history.

January 2020

A must. This excursion has a great historical and cultural value and doing it is almost mandatory if you’re in Madrid. Besides, it’s very well priced.

Nick W.
January 2020

The best thing was that the trip started at 3 and that gave me time to spend the day doing other things. The royal palace was impressive, and our guide was very nice and continually making jokes. I recommend going on this tour.

January 2020

Excellent trip and attention from the guide who explained the entire history of the streets and buildings we visited along the way.

January 2020

Friendly and efficient guide. Although the lunch was not to my taste, the trip totally made up for it.

Thomas R.
January 2020

Very comfortable bus and a professional guide. It was bad luck that the cathedral was closed for the Corpus Christi festival, but at the same time they offered us a panoramic tour of the city and other cultural areas that we weren’t expecting.

Robin T.
January 2020

Not suitable for people with low mobility. My parents are over 80 years old and they had a hard time walking around some parts of the route. I understand that if it hadn’t been for that, the tour would have been good.

Daniel C.
January 2020

Good tour. It went by quickly as we saw all of the city highlights and got to walk around the old town. Personally, I liked the cathedral the most, as well as the panoramic view of the city and the Tagus river.

Joseph G.
January 2020

We loved it. Being able to visit both cities in a single day was amazing.

Samuel C.
January 2020

Highly recommend. It gave us enough time to visit Toledo and Segovia’s main attractions. Good guide.

Danny W.
January 2020

Awesome. Visiting both cities in a single day was wonderful and the guide was great.

Peggy W.
January 2020

Great tour. Definitely worth visiting both cities, it’s a shame that we couldn’t go into the cathedrals.

Christopher R.
January 2020

Spectacular. Nice tour through Toledo and Segovia and Alfonso was a fantastic guide as well as his explanations.

Michelle S.
January 2020

Pure history. We saw vestiges of Roman times in both cities, but what I liked the most was Avila’s wall and the entire old town of Salamanca.

Julie C.
January 2020

Fantastic tour. It gave us enough time to see both cities which are so full of history and art.

Philip R.
January 2020

Worth it. The information provided by the guide Estefania was very good and the places we visited were incredible.

Joseph B.
January 2020

We loved Salamanca. The Main Plaza, the university, the cathedral, the entire historical complex were all amazing. From Avila we really only got to see the wall.

Agnes A.
January 2020

Good value for money. Getting to see these two human heritage cities with a guide explaining everything we were seeing was almost cheaper than doing the route by ourselves.

Julia P.
January 2020

Pure history and art. Both monuments were great. I can’t believe there’s so much accumulated history there.

Kelly R.
January 2020

The best way to visit these two monuments. We travelled comfortably from Madrid and the guide explained the peculiarities of these two wonders in detail and with interesting facts, so we could appreciate them even more.

Mia D.
January 2020

The visit to the Valley was very short and we returned to Madrid a half hour earlier than I thought.

Imogen G.
January 2020

The trip is very short and the guide was paying attention to his mobile the entire time.

Edward R.
January 2020

You’ll soak up a ton of Spanish history. I loved it but I have to say that the guide could have been friendlier and was too dry for my taste.
