The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, or New Chamartín Stadium, is the great temple of Real Madrid, of the most successful football clubs of all time. Therefore, it must not be surprising that it is also one of the largest stadiums in Europe, capable of holding more than 80,000 people.

The stadium dates back to the year 1947, although since then it has been expanded and renovated in order to adapt to the changing times and the necessary safety standards. The last such intervention took place between 1999 and 2000, when its installations were extensively modernized so that it would be able to finally enter the UEFA’s select group of “elite stadiums”.
